Alberta University of the Arts 2021 ShowOff! art competition and exhibition deadline

AUArts is offering Grade 10, 11 and 12 students from across Canada the opportunity to win mega prizes and showcase their art and design work in the 2021 Alberta University of the Arts ShowOff! art competition and virtual exhibition.
There are more than $20,000 in prizes to be won including the grand prize, "Best in Show" — an AUArts scholarship worth $5,000. That's nearly a year of tuition covered!
Bonus: if you win, your school wins too. Each award winners' high school gets money to buy art supplies.

Study and Go Abroad Fair

We would like to welcome you and your students to the free Study and Go Abroad Winter Virtual Fair on Thursday, Febuary 11th. We have a great line-up of universities attending and would really appreciate it if you could help us get the word out to your students. It is a valuable event, and totally free of charge.
The fair offers students an opportunity to meet online with representatives from post-secondary institutions from around the world, so that they can start planning their next step in education, whether it be at home or abroad. The fair will feature universities, professional schools and colleges offering short-term and long-term programs, whole degrees, diplomas, certificate programs and summer programs. Embassies and consortia will also be exhibiting at the fair, as will student travel organizations.
Similar to a regular fair, visitors to the virtual fair are able to visit booths, chat 'live' to university representatives via text or video chat, download brochures, watch videos and attend webinars on a variety of different topics. They will learn about scholarships, admission requirements and a full range of program options; Law, Medicine, Engineering, Sciences, Entertainment and the Arts, IT, Hospitality and more.

King's University Encounter

King’s Encounter is generally an immersive on-campus experience of life as a student, at King’s. Since we are currently unable to host guests in our residence – we hope to bring that experience to your computer! Guests will be matched with student hosts and get a little peek into Residence and On Campus life, as well as engage with Faculty members and Admissions staff. This is a two part event taking part as two separate Zoom meets over Thursday evening and Friday afternoon.
