Off Campus Programs to aid students in career exploration:
By partnering with post-secondary institutions around the province, the Palliser Off-Campus team offers high school students the opportunity to participate in introductory-level college and university courses covering a wide range of subjects. Upon completion of the course, students receive both high school credits and post-secondary credits. Tuition for these courses is paid for by Palliser. Participation is by application.

Partnership between Palliser School Division & Coaldale Fire & Emergency Services. The Prairie Winds Fire & Emergency Academy provides high school students with industry-recognized training aligned with:
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 1001 – Firefighter Level I)
Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations
Medical First Responder (MFR)
Alberta Education Career & Technology Studies (CTS) credits

The Green Certificate Program provides students with opportunities to explore and earn credit for their knowledge in a variety of agriculture-related pathways as a part of their senior high school program. Students can earn up to sixteen 30-level credits and a credential in one of fourteen streams that could lead to a career in agriculture or agri-business.
The RAP program offers high school students the opportunity to begin their apprenticeship journey in their chosen trade while still in high school. Students will be provided resources and guidance in their endeavour to find a paid apprenticeship position within their community and will be awarded as many as 40 total diploma credits as they work towards earning their first year apprenticeship hours.
The Work Experience program provides opportunities for high school students to apply knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired through other course work in the workplace. Students can sign up with their Off Campus Teacher to earn up to 15 credits toward their diploma requirements for the hours they work or volunteer.
