Exploratory

Exploring metal trades at SAIT.

High school is an opportunity for students to explore and discover passions, interests and potential career pathways helping to assist students to narrow down what post-secondary studies and careers they may pursue beyond high school. Students can choose to take an Exploratory Programs as part of their high school learning plan.

Courses are taught by instructors in the industry and support students in making connections to potential career pathways, alongside the support of a school teacher.

Students usually earn a combination of work experience and CTS credits for Exploratory Programs.  They do not earn post-secondary credits.
